Eric Johnson, AIF

Eric Johnson joined Providence Wealth Planning in 2026 after spending over 12 years at his previous firm. He has built a successful practice helping business owners, working professionals and families navigate their roads to financial freedom. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Eric puts himself in his clients' shoes and seeks to find the solutions that are in their best interests.

As his career has developed, Eric has become a leader in the employer-sponsored retirement plan space including non-profits, churches and non-qualified plans. He helps business owners and executives evaluate and improve their existing plans in compliance, performance, cost and service. Eric strives to minimize company fiduciary liability, alleviate administrative burden and increase employee engagement.

Eric and his wife, JoAnn, are actively involved in their church. They are raising their two sons and golden retriever, Ginger, in sunny San Diego. 

Eric is a proud colon cancer survivor and believes it is his duty to share his story and live every day to the fullest.
