Kyle Massey, CFP® CRPC®
Managing Partner | Wealth Advisor
Kyle Massey joined Providence Wealth Planning in 2025 following 20 years of experience as both an advisor and branch manager. He chose a career in wealth management after discovering a deep curiosity for behavioral finance at a young age. Kyle spent most of his career within the E*TRADE/Morgan Stanley organization, where he served in a diverse range of roles for 15 years. As a Financial Consultant, Kyle provided advice and planning services directly to clients. As a Regional Planning Consultant, he was responsible for training and coaching hundreds of advisors across the western states. Kyle then held leadership positions in multiple branch locations before transitioning to VP of Executive Services where he led a team of relationship managers and helped drive important initiatives for equity compensation participants.
Kyle is well-versed in goals-based planning, asset management, and equity compensation. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, Kyle is committed to delivering solutions that are in the best interests of his clients and he has met the CFP Board’s extensive training and experience requirements. Kyle also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® and Psychology of Financial Planning Specialist™ designations. He loves helping people retire (and remain retired) with confidence.
Kyle has been married to his wife Ashley since 2014. Together they share a passion for travel. It’s common for the two of them to visit new countries every year in search of unfamiliar cultures, new foods and lifelong memories. Two unchecked boxes on the travel bucket list are the Galapagos Islands and the Azores. Kyle and Ashley are animal lovers, hosting foster dogs in their home to assist with adoption efforts whenever possible.
A lifelong Californian, Kyle lived in Southern California until moving to the Bay Area in 2020. He resides in Half Moon Bay where his weekends are spent on the local hiking trails along the coastline. Kyle has been known to watch any NFL game at any time no matter which two teams are playing. He is insistent that listening to audiobooks is in fact “reading” and by that standard he reads quite a bit, always keeping an eclectic mix of new content queued up.
Joining Providence Wealth Planning brings Kyle into the family practice, which was founded by his father Mark and brother Ian. The three Masseys collectively have nearly 60 years of experience in the field of wealth management.
Kyle is an Investment Advisor Representative, holding Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24 and 66 licenses with Osaic Wealth, as well as California Life & Health insurance licenses.
